As the UK's most prestigious national lighting competition, it offers all designers of lighting schemes the opportunity to attain the highest recognition for their skills, as well as rewarding innovations in lighting technology.

Widely recognised as the ultimate stamp of excellence in the industry, the Lighting Design Awards promote the importance and influence of good lighting, and commend energy efficiency and innovation in the design of the lit environment all of which Hacel have been committed to for over twenty five years. We are acutely aware of the current global changes affecting us all and realise that the industry as a whole must adopt the latest technology available to improve the standard of luminaires and efficiency of lighting projects. Consequently, our Lighting Design Engineers and Project Design Consultants are responsible for creating projects incorporating Hacel Energy Efficient Luminaires, Intelligent Lighting Controls and Modular Wiring Systems.
