Chevron is one of the largest integrated energy companies in the world. It occupies an important place in the United Kingdom's energy market with interests in nine oil and gas producing fields in the UK Continental Shelf.
Hacel supplied a large range of lighting for Chevron Europe's new offices at Hill of Rubislaw in Aberdeen. The interior design brief included a contemporary feel with a strong use of vibrant colour throughout, in particular Chevron's corporate colours: red and blue, to differentiate various areas. For the main office areas and staircases the brief stated that the lighting should provide a visual contrast to the square ceiling grid but also compliment the circular columns and door portholes.
The lighting scheme was designed and specified by Andy Forbes, Director of Wallace Whittle, who worked closely with the client to meet their aspirations. The installation was overseen by the Project Manager, George Dempster, of NG Bailey Ltd. whilst the project was supplied through the Perth branch of Edmundson Electrical Ltd.
