Located in the heart of Durham City centre, Freeman’s Quay Leisure Centre is a new and exciting health and fitness development.
The centre features a Lifestyle Fitness Gym, an Eight Lane Swimming Pool, Dance Studio, Sports Hall, Food Court and an Internet Café. Designed by WM Saunders Partnership, the contemporary design of the building maximizes natural light and ensures that energy and water waste are minimised. The lighting scheme was designed by the Jackson Coulson Partnership who specified Hacel luminaires extensively throughout the centre.
