The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust commissioned GLS Design to transform the 60's Room at their headquarters in Stratford Upon Avon into a high security exhibition space for the priceless paintings which form the Shakespeare Found Exhibition.
GLS created a Palladian setting, a classic architectural style dating back to the 16th century, to enhance the attraction of the exhibition. To achieve this, the lighting solution was designed and installed by Connoisseur Lighting who used the Hacel Elito 053 to create the subtle ambience.
The photography, by Paul Springett, used here on our website and also to promote the exhibition has perfectly captured the unique atmosphere by combining multiple long exposure times with the dramatic lighting by Hacel.
